The Mighty Thoroughbred Clique began in 2003 with a humble idea. Two years later, it's still a humble idea--a one person shop--but making little differences with donations of money as well as patches and browbands for fundraisers for the following organizations:

Sponsored riders

Melissa Hunsberger, Windchase Farms Assistant Trainer, who rides and shows two off the track Thoroughbreds, Expedience and Just Fun Stuff, has been selected as the sponsored rider for both 2006 and 2007. Melissa was named to the USEF 2006 Developing Rider List!

After winning 2001 National Training Level Horse and Rider of the Year and the 2002 Area 6 Preliminary Champion for both horse and rider, Paula Wong and her "rescue" Just Right competed successfully at the Intermediate level. Paula continues to coach an ever-growing group of young riders and plans to continue JR's career as a dressage horse.

Browbands for teams

MTC has donated team browbands to a young rider/junior team for the last two years.

The Area VI team who went to NAYRC 2005 sported gold and blue browbands.
